Laboratory Services Summary

Continental Analytical Services, Inc. provides analytical testing services to assist publicly and privately owned wastewater treatment plants in complying with regulations for the management and disposal of wastewater and sewage sludge.

Continental provides all required analyses in support of 40 CFR, Part 503 Class B Sludge regulations:
Fecal Coliform for pathogen reduction requirements.
Total Solids and Total Volatile Solids for vector attraction reduction requirements.
Specific Oxygen Uptake Rate (SOUR) analysis for aerobically treated sludge.
Required metals and nutrient analyses.
   
Analyses are also available to assist in monitoring nutrient requirements in soil receiving land-applied waste activated sludge:
Available Phosphorus (Bray P-1)
Exchangeable Potassium
Nitrate/Nitrite, as N
   

Compositing of soil samples is available at no additional charge.

Continental is NELAP accredited, and holds certifications in Kansas and numerous other states.
