Laboratory Services
Summary
Continental Analytical Services,
Inc. provides sampling and analytical testing services
in support of groundwater monitoring for landfills,
manufacturing facilities, petroleum refineries, chemical
plants, and military installations across the Midwest.
Continental’s Field Services
Department has trained field technicians available to
complete monitoring projects ranging from small UST
sites to large industrial facilities with several hundred
monitor wells. All field technicians are experienced
with the procedures necessary for the collection of
samples and the operation of field analytical sampling
equipment following EPA and State Agency required protocols.
Continental has over 13 years
experience providing high quality data and exceptional
service to clients with groundwater monitoring needs.
Our staff has expertise in a full range of analytical
procedures, including volatile and semivolatile organics
by GC and GCMS, explosives by HPLC, metals by ICP and
GFAA, and various general chemistry methods.
The Laboratory is NELAP accredited
by the State of Kansas, and holds certifications in
numerous other states. In addition, Continental is fully
accredited by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and has
served as a Quality Assurance Lab for the Corps since
1991.
Quality control practices have
been established as part of every analytical measurement
to assure the reliability of test results. These practices
are based on EPA, NELAP and U.S. Army Corps of Engineer’s
requirements as well as the technical knowledge of our
experienced staff. With Continental, you can rest assured
the quality of the data reported to you will be understood,
documented, and defensible.
Continental participates
in the American Council of Independent Laboratories
Seal of Excellence program. This prestigious program
recognizes laboratories that excel in terms of ethics,
data integrity, and customer service. Continental is
proud to be the only laboratory in the United States
to be awarded the Seal of Excellence each year since
the program’s inception in 1997.
