National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC)

The NELAC Institute is a cooperative association of State and Federal agencies formed to establish and promote acceptable performance standards for the operation of environmental laboratories. The goal of NELAC is to foster the generation of environmental laboratory data of known and acceptable quality on which to base public health and environmental management decisions.

Contains documents and files on NELAC constitution and bylaws, current standards, proposed changes and other NELAC related information.

Environmental Regulations

U.S. EPA Laws and Regulations
Contains information on the origin of environmental laws, current legislation, and new and proposed regulations. Also contains access to full text and fact sheets of the major laws that form the basis for the programs of the Environmental Protection Agency.

CFR Title 40: Protection of the Environment
Access to EPA environmental regulations through the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (e-CFR), which was created as a joint project of the Office of the Federal Register (OFR) and the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO).
